An anti-religious group called the Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) has availed itself of Wisconsin's open records laws to request that Gov. Scott Walker release records of his prayer habits. "Since your terms as governor," the organization demanded, "please provide a copy/transcript of all communications with God, the Lord, Christ, Jesus or any other form of deity."
The request was based on Walker's public statements about his faith, like his comment this year that he's praying about whether to run for president in 2016 or his suggestion that God guided him to marrying his wife.
As the FFRF noted in a slightly snarky response on its website, the governor's office replied to the inquiry by stating it "does not have records responsive to your request."
