Poll: Government still perceived as Americans' biggest problem

A new Gallup poll indicates that Americans continue to view government as their single greatest problem. While the economy and unemployment have given the government a run for its money over the last year, in recent months government has taken a clear lead for the ignominious title.

Congressional approval ratings, meanwhile, have hit 16 percent, which is progress by Congress' very low standards. President Obama is faring a little better in the polls — and his approval rating of 46 percent is exactly average for presidents in their third March after re-election.
