Russian President Vladimir Putin is apparently alive and well, making a public appearance with Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev at the Constantine Palace outside St. Petersburg.
Putin hasn't been seen in public since March 5, sparking rumors that he was ill, deposed, or even dead. He didn't directly address his absence on Monday, but he joked that life would be boring without rumors, RT said.
