Mr. T — mohawk enthusiast and noted pitier of fools — also apparently knows a thing or two about home renovation.
In his new DIY Network show I Pity the Tool, the '80s icon will help transform the homes of people going through rough patches, including veterans. "I am tough, but deep inside my toughness, I like to let people know I'm an old-fashioned mama's boy," he told Variety. "I have a heart of gold, but I'm really a marshmallow in my heart."
Before starring in The A-Team and Rocky III, Mr. T worked demolition jobs, and in high school, he learned masonry and cabinetmaking. The pilot is expected to air sometime this year with the rest of the episodes coming out in 2016, and until then, Mr. T has some words of advice for those looking to renovate their homes: "You can't just knock down everything," he said. "There might be electrical wiring. There might be a gap open. You have to take your time. You have to scout things out. If you do the wrong thing, it's going to be a disaster."
