Germanwings co-pilot researched suicide methods before crash
Andreas Lubitz, the Germanwings co-pilot accused of deliberately crashing an airliner with 150 people on board last month, researched suicide methods and the security apparatus of cockpit doors days before downing the plane, prosecutors said Thursday. Investigators previously revealed the 27-year-old Lubitz sought treatment for "suicidal tendencies" and that he reported being depressed during his flight school training. Also Thursday, investigators said they recovered the second of two black boxes from the plane, which should help them piece together the final moments before the crash.
