Ray-Ban forced Rand Paul to pull branded wayfarers from his online store

In a bit of failed millennial outreach, Rand Paul's team was forced to stop selling branded Ray-Ban wayfarers after the eyewear company issued a formal request, The Hill reports.
The sunglasses had appeared on Paul’s eclectic online store, which also features a banner image proclaiming that "Rand fashion is cool." But Paul's team failed to acquire Ray-Ban’s consent to make and sell the product — and, as The Hill put it, "the company didn't think that was cool."
Pesky trademark laws. Perhaps if the government would just butt out, we could have ourselves some Rand-branded Ray-Bans.
