Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts announced during a press conference late Tuesday night that a total of 10 people have been arrested since curfew began at 10 p.m.

"There's not a lot of activity as a whole, so the curfew is in fact working," Batts said. Seven of the arrests were for curfew violation, two for looting, and one for disorderly conduct. He said he was "very pleased" by the community policing itself, adding, "The biggest thing is that citizens are safe, our city is stable, and we hope to maintain it that way."
