A Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows that Hillary Clinton's recent scandals haven't harmed her image in the eyes of Iowa Democrats.
The poll, which surveyed 692 likely participants in Iowa's Democratic caucuses, found that 60 percent of respondents would back Clinton in the vote. That's only a one percent decrease from a Quinnipiac poll that surveyed respondents prior to the revelation that Clinton used a private email for government work. Fifteen percent of respondents in the new poll, meanwhile, indicated support for Bernie Sanders.
In addition, 76 percent of respondents agreed that Clinton was "honest and trustworthy," according to the poll. "One thing is obvious about Iowa Democratic Caucus participants: They are loyal as the day is long, at least when it comes to Hillary Clinton," Peter Brown, assistant director of the poll, told Politico.
