Poll shows Jeb Bush leading GOP presidential race in New Hampshire

Jeb Bush may not be Iowa Republicans' first choice, but New Hampshire is another story.
The WMUR Granite State Poll found that 15 percent of likely New Hampshire voters in the Republican primary expressed support for the former Florida governor. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio gained 12 percent of Republican respondents' support, while Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul earned 11 and 10 percent of Republican respondents' support, respectively.
In terms of issues, 27 percent of poll respondents saw the economy as the "most important," while 22 percent said that foreign policy and national security are the most important issues. The poll surveyed 706 New Hampshire adults, including 293 likely Republican primary voters and 229 likely Democratic primary voters, between April 24 and May 3. The poll's margin of error was 3.7 percentage points, with a 5.7 percentage margin of error for likely Republican primary voters, though, so the results could be much different by the time of the election.
