Johnny Depp's dogs will be euthanized if they remain in Australia

If Johnny Depp doesn't put his Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo on a plane out of Australia by Saturday, Australia will put the dogs to sleep, Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce said Thursday. According to Joyce, Depp smuggled the dogs into the country aboard his private jet on April 21, bypassing Australia's mandatory permit and quarantine measures.
"If you start letting movie stars — even though they've been the sexiest man alive twice — to come into our nation (with pets), then why don't we just break laws for everybody?" Joyce said at a news conference announcing the 72-hour ultimatum. "It's time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States." Depp is in the country filming the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. The dogs were caught when a handler tried to covertly take them to a dog groomer in a handbag.
