Two convicted murderers escaped from New York's largest state prison early Saturday morning and remain at large, the New York Times reports. The inmates in adjoining cells at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora were both serving life sentences.

A manhunt is underway for Richard Matt and David Sweat, who drilled their way out of the cells and past the maximum-security prison's 30-foot walls. The two fooled guards with dummies made of sweatshirts.
