Jerry Seinfeld: 'There's a creepy PC thing out there that really bothers me'

On Tuesday's Late Night, Seth Meyers discussed comedy and political correctness with Jerry Seinfeld and New Yorker editor David Remnick. Comedy is supposed to push boundaries, but "there are more people now who will let you know if they think you went over the line than ever before," said Meyers, and his guests agreed. Worse, "they keep moving the lines in for no reason," added Seinfeld, bringing up a joke about scrolling through a smartphone "like a gay French king."

That didn't sit well with a recent audience, Seinfeld said, throwing in a trademark "Are you kidding me?" He added: "There's a creepy PC thing out there that really bothers me." Remnick jumped in, noting that every once in a while, you really do screw up, which somehow led to a discussion about Caitlyn Jenner. Watch the discussion below. Peter Weber
