Islamic State has claimed responsibility for four car bombings that targeted pro-Houthi locations in Sana'a, Yemen, on Wednesday.

Peace talks are being held in Geneva in an attempt to stop fighting between the Houthis and government forces loyal to President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi, CNN reports. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is calling for peace during Ramadan, which starts Thursday. UNICEF seconds his plea, and said Tuesday that at least 279 children have been killed in the violence since March.
