The Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church will reportedly reopen Sunday morning after 9 people were fatally shot there Wednesday night. Congregation member Cassie Watson and others in the building confirmed the scheduled 8:30 a.m. opening to The Associated Press.

A cleaning crew worked on the historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, after authorities say Dylann Roof opened fire during a bible study group. The church will open for Sunday school and then a 9 a.m. service.
