This is Doodlebug, an orphaned kangaroo who just wants a hug

To get you through the mid-week hump, here is a picture of an orphaned baby kangaroo named Doodlebug hugging his teddy bear. Have you melted yet?

Doodlebug lives in New South Wales and is cared for by Gillian Abbott, the mother of Tim Beshara, who shared the photo yesterday. "Showing the value of a good hug, especially for an orphaned wallaby," Beshara wrote, although Doodlebug is actually an eastern grey kangaroo and not a wallaby. Regardless of his species, however, this much is true: Doodlebug is adorable. Hang in there, little guy. Everything's going to be okay.
