Donald Trump doesn't know if he's donated to Planned Parenthood

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had a contentious, 37-minute interview with NBC's Chuck Todd on Sunday's Meet the Press. One exchange focused on Trump's stance on abortion, which he said he would want banned except in cases of incest, rape, or when the mother's life is in danger. Naturally, talked turned to Planned Parenthood, where Trump seemed a little confused about his own history with the network of women's health clinics:
Todd: You were somewhat defending Planned Parenthood earlier this week. It struck me. There was a time Planned Parenthood was not seen as a very political organization. Were you ever a donor?Trump: I don't know.Todd: But it's possible?Trump: I give to so many, Chuck. I give to so many organizations over the years, hundreds of millions of dollars. I don't think so. [Meet the Press]
Trump also took shots at Hillary Clinton, saying it'd be a "miracle" if she continues to run for president in light of the scandal over her use of a private email server as secretary of state. As for his own campaign, Trump called a third-party run unlikely should he lose the Republican nomination, but he still won't rule it out.
