Joe Biden's new hire has 2016 watchers atwitter

Vice President Joe Biden is "increasingly leaning toward" jumping into the race for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, The Wall Street Journal reported late Sunday night. Biden is supposedly still weighing "political, financial, and family considerations before making a final decision," but if he can pull together a competitive campaign this late in the game, it's likely he'll toss his hat in the ring, The Hill reports.
Adding further fuel to the fire, the White House announced Monday that Biden has selected a new communications director, one who just so happens to have extensive campaign experience. Following his former communications director's exit in March to work for the president, Biden has tapped Kate Bedingfield, former spokeswoman for John Edwards' 2008 campaign and a former chief spokeswoman and vice president of corporate communications for the Motion Picture Association of America, to fill the role.
Hmmm, indeed! But as Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff reminded The Wall Street Journal, "Anyone speculating that [Biden] has made a decision is wrong."
