Aides to Marco Rubio and Rand Paul reportedly get in 'barroom brawl' in Michigan
What's an election season without a good old-fashioned bar fight? Well, here it is: In an incident that allegedly took place during the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference, a deputy campaign manager of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio allegedly swung at a political consultant of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul in Horn's Bar, a nightspot on the Michigan island, according to the Detroit Free Press. So far the only report of the incident comes from the supposed victim, John Yob, who described the Thursday night confrontation on Facebook.
"I ran into a guy named Rich Beeson, who frankly I didn't even know who it was at first because he isn't relevant in our political world," Yob wrote. "He literally physically assaulted me by punching me in the face. The state police are looking for him. I have it on video, from multiple angles. This will play out in the national media in the next few hours."
The Mackinac Island Police Department has yet to make comment.

Update: National Journal has obtained a purported video of the encounter, in which the alleged punch appears to be more of a shove to the face.
