Maybe your Back to the Future Day is off to a bad start — perhaps because you don't have self-tying shoelaces, a flying car, a hoverboard, or even that goofy jacket that fits itself to your size and dries itself off. Let Doc Brown cheer you up. On Wednesday morning — yes, Oct. 21, 2015 — Universal Pictures gave actor Christopher Lloyd the keys to his old Delorean time machine, and both of them want you to know that the future is still yours. Yes, the future is "different than we all thought," Doc Brown says. "But don't worry, it just means your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one." It's great advice — and if you decide to make your future by mass-producing that hoverboard, well, we all win. Peter Weber
