Even undercard debater Bobby Jindal is polling better than Jeb Bush in Iowa
Jeb Bush just got beaten in Iowa by a candidate who didn't even poll high enough nationally to make it onto the main stage of the last Republican presidential debate. A new poll out Tuesday by Public Policy Polling (PPP) reveals that undercard debater Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal now polls ahead of Bush in Iowa, 6 percent to 5 percent.
Though the difference is still within the poll's 3.9 percent margin of error, it still doesn't bode well for the former establishment favorite. Bush's numbers put him behind Donald Trump (22 percent), Ben Carson (21 percent), Ted Cruz (15 percent), Marco Rubio (10 percent), Mike Huckabee (6 percent), and Bobby Jindal (6 percent).
When it comes to Bush's favorability numbers in Iowa, the news is even more dismal. Bush polls worse than any other GOP candidate in terms of favorability, with only 30 percent viewing him favorably and 43 percent viewing him negatively. Favorability frontrunner Carson, in comparison, polls 74 percent favorable and only 13 percent unfavorable.

Bush's campaign is spinning these dragging poll numbers as simply par for the course for a candidate in the midst of a "comeback." Bush's Communications Director Tim Miller tweeted Monday:
Only time will tell.
