Republican Matt Bevin elected governor of Kentucky

Republican Matt Bevin, a Tea Party favorite, beat Democrat Jack Conway on Tuesday to win the governor's race in Kentucky.
Unofficial results from the Kentucky State Board of Elections has Bevin defeating Conway, the state's attorney general, 52.52 percent to 43.82 percent, with all 120 counties reporting. Drew Curtis, an Independent, came in a distant third with 3.6 percent of the vote.
Bevin has opposed expanding Medicaid in the state under the Affordable Care Act, and told NBC News Monday he would replace the Medicaid expansion with another program by using a federal waiver. "Nobody's losing anything," he said.
