Hello Kitty is opening up her very own pop-up cafe in Southern California

Hello Kitty has been on your backpack, your lunch box, and your pencils, and now, she's headed for your plate.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up will soon arrive at the Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, California, serving up sweet treats like colorful macarons, artisanal sodas, specialty coffee drinks, and tea service that Sanrio said will be "infused" with Hello Kitty and friends. Diners won't be eating inside of a giant red bow, but rather a metal shipping container, plastered with images of the famous cat and other beloved Sanrio characters like Keroppi, Chococat, and My Melody.
This isn't Hello Kitty's debut in the food world — last year, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck started rolling across the Western U.S., offering mini-cakes, donuts, and other confections at various stops. The Irvine pop-up will open in late November, and it's expected to stay in business for a year. In 2016, a permanent Hello Kitty Cafe will open at a still-undisclosed location somewhere in Southern California. The mouthless cat may not be able to dine on her own food, but at least her fans will be able to nosh on sugary goodies whenever they want.
