The jurors deliberating the case of a Baltimore police officer charged with the death of Freddie Gray said Tuesday that they are unable to reach a consensus. Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams ordered them to keep deliberating.

Officer William Porter, 26, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and misconduct in the death of Gray, a 25-year-old black man. Gray died last April of a broken neck while being transported in a police van. His death sparked large protests around police brutality in the city, and officials are reportedly bracing for unrest after the verdict is announced.
