Donald Trump is certain Budweiser has him to thank for the idea to change its beer's name to "America" for the summer. In an interview on Fox and Friends on Wednesday, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee didn't hesitate to give himself credit when asked if he had anything to do with the name change. "I think so, they're so impressed with what our country will become that they decided to do this before the fact," Trump said.

Budweiser announced its name change Tuesday, which will take effect starting in summer and last through the November presidential election. The company actually credited the summer's potential to be "the most patriotic summer that this generation has ever seen, with Copa America Centenario being held on U.S. soil for the first time [and] Team USA competing at the Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympic Games" as its reason for the change, but hey, Trump can think what he wants — it is a free country, after all, as Budweiser's summer branding will remind us. The patriotic cans are set to hit shelves May 23.
