Hillary Clinton offers Jimmy Kimmel a new, prestigious post in the Clinton White House

On Monday's Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel told Hillary Clinton that he had a "bone to pick" with her. When she was considering a running mate, "at any point did anyone mention my name?" he asked, making a nod to his "historic" solo run for vice president. "Oh, I want you to know, we took you very seriously," Clinton said. "Did you really?" Kimmel asked. "Yes, you were on the list," Clinton said. Kimmel then took a jaundiced look at his competition.
"You picked Tim Kaine — and were you looking for somebody who looks like he jumped out of the front row of a Jimmy Buffett concert?" he asked. Kimmel proposed a game where he would name cons about Kaine and Clinton could counter with pros — Kaine, in Kimmel's mind, appears to be a 1990s soccer dad, and Clinton seems fine with that, Macarena and all. "It's not too late to dump Timmy and get Jimmy on, you know what I'm saying?" he said, making one last pitch. "I accept your unspoken but obvious invitation." "We've kind of moved on, but here's what I would like to offer," Clinton said diplomatically. "We could have, like, a vice vice president." Kimmel accepted on the spot. So maybe his next late-night political campaign will be amending the Constitution. Peter Weber
