Explosions reported during SpaceX rocket's pre-launch test

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket reportedly exploded on its launch pad during a routine pre-launch test at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape, Canaveral, Florida, on Thursday. SpaceX said the explosion was caused by an "anomaly" on the launch pad during the test firing. Though there weren't any injuries, both the "vehicle and payload" have been lost, Reuters reported.
NASA webcam images of the launch pad showed flames and thick clouds of smoke, and buildings miles away from the launch pad were reportedly shaken by the blow:
The rocket was scheduled to launch an Israeli communications satellite into space Saturday. This explosion marks the second for Elon Musk's space company, after the July 2015 explosion of a cargo mission headed for the International Space Station.
