A train from Vigo, Spain, to Oporto, Portugal, derailed Friday morning in Galicia, Spanish officials say, and at least three people are dead. The train was carrying 63 passengers, a driver, and another crew member, and Spanish media reports that the driver is among the three fatalities; dozens of people were injured.
It is not clear what caused Friday's crash, but ADIF, the administrator of Spain's state-run RENFE railroad, says it has opened an investigation.
