This new Clinton ad compiles nearly every negative comment Trump has made about voters
Hillary Clinton wasn't about to sit back and let Donald Trump's claim that she has a "low opinion" of American citizens go unanswered. A day after Trump released an ad replaying the moment Clinton said half of Trump's supporters belong in a "basket of deplorables," the Democrat fired back Tuesday with an ad of her own, recounting many of the less-than-favorable remarks her GOP opponent has made about Americans.
"What's Donald's opinion of our citizens?" the ad asks, before showing him calling people "stupid," mocking a reporter with a disability, claiming people in poverty have nothing to lose because their "schools are no good" and they "have no jobs," and saying he'd like to punch someone in the face.
The ad opens and closes with a snippet of Trump's speech Monday, in which he claimed, "You can't lead this nation if you have such a low opinion of its citizens." Give the ad a watch, below. Becca Stanek
