Jimmy Kimmel hosts his own absurdist vice presidential debate

Sen. Tim Kaine and Gov. Mike Pence are "two mild-mannered and well-groomed men selected by Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to make you hate them less," but their debate on Tuesday night "was like watching a glass of whole milk do battle with a jar of low-calorie mayonnaise," Jimmy Kimmel said on Tuesday's Kimmel Live (it's not clear he watched the debate). But the vice presidential face-off was not legitimate, he said, because it didn't include Libertarian VP nominee Bill Weld or Green nominee Ajamu Baraka — "and most glaringly, it did not include the Let's Party Party candidate, me," Kimmel said.
Kimmel decided to right that wrong by holding his own vice presidential debate, and he also did not invite Weld or Baraka. They might have shown up, though, and if you watch below, it's hard to decide if moderator Guillermo's absurd questions are more amusing than the absence of Pencé and Kaine. Peter Weber
