Trump loyalist Giuliani had to step in for Priebus, Christie, and Conway on Sunday shows

Sunday morning's political talk shows were short three guests as Republican National Committee chair Reince Priebus, Gov. Chris Christie, and Donald Trump's campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, all canceled scheduled interviews. In their places was Rudy Giuliani, who stood in for Priebus, Christie, and Conway at CBS's Face the Nation, CNN's State of the Union, and Fox News Sunday, respectively.

Giuliani had a particularly contentious interview with CNN's Jake Tapper in which he attempted to at once condemn Trump's sexually graphic remarks in a recording from 2005 while simultaneously defending Trump as a viable candidate. In one testy exchange, Tapper insisted that Giuliani's "locker room" defense is not good enough. Watch that clip below. Bonnie Kristian
