While speaking at Yale University on Wednesday, Jeb Bush got in some high-energy jabs against his former sparring partner, President Trump.
Bush was invited to campus by the William F. Buckley Jr. Program. His speech was titled "Restoring Conservatism in America," and while he did mostly stick to the topic, the former governor of Florida and onetime Republican presidential candidate got in a few jokes, including that he's "still in therapy" over the 2016 election. Bush then went for the jugular, the Yale Daily News reports, declaring that unlike Trump, he goes home every day to children "who actually love me."
Not so fast, Jeb! Eric Trump raced to Twitter on Wednesday night to proclaim his deep affection for the president, writing, "@JebBush I actually love my father very much." Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Tiffany have yet to comment.
