Incredibles 2 becomes Disney's third title to reach $1 billion worldwide this year

It's been an incredible year so far for Disney — thanks in part to Incredibles 2.
The box office sensation on Tuesday crossed the $1 billion threshold globally, Entertainment Weekly reported. It only took the Incredibles sequel a month and a half to reach this milestone, making it the seventh animated film to do so. The film now joins a league of Disney favorites, including Frozen ($1.23 billion), Minions ($1.16 billion), Toy Story 3 ($1.07 billion), Despicable Me 3 ($1.03 billion), Finding Dory ($1.03 billion), and Zootopia ($1.02 billion), in crossing the triple-comma mark.
With the quick success of Incredibles 2, Disney has now had three titles hit the $1 billion mark in 2018. Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War ($2.04 billion) and Black Panther ($1.34 billion) hold the other two spots.
