Disney just released a new trailer for the live-action Aladdin, and fans are feeling a whole new world of difference.

The new footage features much more of Will Smith's Genie. Reactions were mixed to negative when his version of the character debuted last month; it looked like the CGI was unfinished, and Smith's face seemed as if it was ready to slide off the Genie's body.

But in this trailer, he looks much better, suggesting the version of the Genie shown in the February trailer really was in need of some polishing before the film's debut. In fact, there was already reason to believe that was the case considering when Entertainment Weekly published a cover story on Aladdin in December, Disney didn't even reveal any of the blue Genie because it wasn't yet ready to be seen.

It looks ready now, though, and all around, this is easily the best trailer Disney has released for Aladdin so far, with some fans who were skeptical about the early footage now starting to come around. It also shows off Smith's Genie singing "Friend Like Me," includes a look at his human form, and concludes with a rendition of "A Whole New World" as Aladdin and Jasmine embark on their magic carpet ride once more.

Aladdin, Disney's third live-action adaptation of 2019 along with Dumbo and The Lion King, hits theaters on May 24. Brendan Morrow
