Samsung's Galaxy Fold, a new foldable smartphone releasing next week, is already running into some trouble. Samsung sent the new phones to reviewers from around the web, and now some of them are reporting that their phones are broken after just two days of use.
Aside from a visible crease in the screen where it folds, users are encountering a few other problems that render the Galaxy Fold unusable. A couple of them have accidentally peeled off part of the screen, mistaking it for a protective cover:
Others, however, couldn't even pinpoint a reason for their phones' problems. The Verge's Dieter Bohn noted that his phone developed a strange bulge near the hinge that eventually broke the screen. And CNBC's Steve Kovach's unit just didn't work:
