This Democrat is having KFC for breakfast to taunt Barr

Attorney General William Barr said he's not showing up for his House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday. So Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) brought another "chicken" to the floor.
After testifying about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, Barr later confirmed he wouldn't do the same for the House. So when Cohen walked into Barr's no-show hearing on Thursday, he brought along a small chicken sculpture and proudly declared "he's here!" Cohen also had what looked like an unconventional KFC breakfast, and literally munched some 11-spice goodness on the House floor.
Reports in the days before Barr's hearing indicated the attorney general wouldn't show up because he didn't like that both parties' committee counsels would get to question him. Barr still hadn't RSVP'd to the hearing as the Wednesday hearing dragged on, though House committee members spent the day fighting over the terms of his testimony anyway. House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) later said he'd give Barr "a day or two" to hand over an unredacted copy of Mueller's report before "seeking a contempt citation" against him.
