Megan Rapinoe sinks 2 goals in Women's World Cup quarterfinals after Trump tells her to 'win before she talks'

The U.S. Women's National soccer team beat France 2-1 in the quarterfinal of the Women's World Cup on Friday.

Both goals, coincidentally, were scored by co-captain Megan Rapinoe, who President Trump criticized in a series of tweets this week. After Rapinoe said she's "not going to the f---king White House" if she wins the cup, Trump tweeted "Megan should WIN first before she TALKS!"

Rapinoe now has one more win under her belt — she sank one goal within the first five minutes of the match and another in the 65th minute, knocking France, the host country out of the tournament.

The U.S. will now make its eighth consecutive trip to the Women's World Cup semifinals, reports CBS Sports. Only England, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and the U.S. remain. Rapinoe and the rest of the women's national team will get a chance to continue their historic run when they face England on July 2.
