President Trump isn't worried about the changing demographics in Texas and Democratic efforts to register new voters, he told the crowd at his Dallas rally Thursday night.

"Texas is not in play," he said, adding, "Democrats will never get the chance [to be president] because Texas won't let them." A Republican stronghold for the last few decades, Texas will be critical in 2020; while Trump won the state in 2016 by 9 percentage points, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) won re-election by less than 3 points last year.
