Joe Biden already has a brutal new ad featuring NATO leaders laughing at Trump
President Trump left NATO's 70th anniversary summit in London a little early Wednesday, after calling Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "two-faced" in response to a viral video of Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Britain's Princess Anne apparently laughing at him behind his back during a Buckingham Palace reception. Former Vice President Joe Biden wasted little time combining that moment of mockery to others for a new campaign ad.
"The world is laughing at President Trump," Biden tweeted. "They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership. We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief."
Given Biden's propensity for verbal gaffes, it's a bit of a stretch to imagine a President Biden being immune to chuckles from other world leaders. But Trump appears intensely sensitive to being laughed at in a way Biden isn't, so maybe this ad is aimed at an audience of one — we'll find out, presumably, if Team Biden pays to run it during Fox & Friends.
