Anyone hoping that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) would be primaried by new Florida resident Ivanka Trump in 2022, sorry. It's not happening, Rubio spokesman Nick Iacovella told The New York Times and Politico on Thursday. The spoke "a few weeks ago," he said. "Ivanka offered her support for Marco's re-election. They had a great talk." Trump told CNN in a statement that Rubio is "a good personal friend and I know he will continue to drive meaningful progress on issues we both care deeply about."
