Across Brazil on Sunday, tens of thousands of people marched in protests, calling for the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff.

Protesters covered Copacabana beach in Rio and stood outside the capital in Brasilia, with some singing the national anthem and others carrying banners that read "Dilma Out," the BBC reports. Many believe Rousseff is not doing enough to stop corruption in the country or fix Brazil's troubled economy. "We want things to change, and if the people don't go in the street that's impossible," said Elino Alves de Moraes, a retired engineer who marched in Brasilia. Rousseff is less than a year into her second term as president, and this is the third major protest against her so far in 2015. Catherine Garcia
