Marc Jacobs may have come up with the most outrageous dress code of all time

If you are one of the select few to receive an invitation for the release party of the new book Gloss, good luck deciphering the dress code, which sounds like the fever dream of someone who fell asleep watching Studio 54.

Gloss showcases the work of 1970s photographer Chris Von Wangenheim, and designer Marc Jacobs is hosting the fête at former hotspot Tunnel in New York City. Yahoo Style received a coveted invitation, and the dress code (yes, it's in all caps, and yes, it says "sequins" three times) is a doozy:
