Donald Trump is the winner of the Nevada Republican caucuses, several media outlets are projecting. With 88 percent of precincts reporting, Trump has 45.6 percent of the vote, versus 23.3 percent for Marco Rubio and 22.1 percent for Ted Cruz. Ben Carson is a distant fourth with 5 percent, and John Kasich is in fifth place with 3.5 percent. Cruz and Rubio are battling for second place, hoping a runner-up showing will help them going into Super Tuesday, but with the current totals, Cruz and Rubio each have 5 delegates, versus 12 for Trump.
