Donald Trump has called the Bible his "favorite book of all time," claiming nothing can beat it, "not even The Art of the Deal," which is obviously high praise coming from him. But when pressed on a radio show Thursday to cite a "favorite Bible verse or Bible story that has informed your thinking or your character through life," Trump didn't mess around and went straight for the Old Testament.

"Look, an eye for an eye, you can almost say that. That's not a particularly nice thing," Trump answered, apparently referencing Exodus 21:23 (or the 3700-year-old Babylonian Code of Hammurabi).
