On Monday's Full Frontal, Samantha Bee sat down with a group of Bernie Sanders supporters at a Greenwich Village folk music club to try and understand their optimism and perhaps siphon off a little for herself. On Wednesday, after Sanders lost New York to Hillary Clinton by 15 percentage points, Full Frontal posted a video postscript to that panel session. It's a love song of sorts for the Sanders fans, with a distinct undercurrent of good-natured trolling, performed by comedian-musician Dave Hill.

Here's how it begins: "I admire your principles and idealism. I admire your total lack of realism. But seriously, who's it gonna be? Donald Trump or Hillary?" The Sanders focus group, befitting their unflappable happiness, appears to enjoy the song, but in many ways they get the last laugh. Watch below. Peter Weber
