The race to sign prolific Dutch goalscorer Bas Dost is hotting up with German rag Sport Bild reporting that Newcastle United, Swansea City, Stoke and Southampton are all in pursuit of the player who's scored 13 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg this season. Bild says that Newcastle and the Saints lead the chase with the pair reportedly ready to cough up Wolfsburg's asking price of £17m for the 25-year-old, who made his international debut for Holland last month against Turkey.
The Daily Mirror says Inter Milan "are preparing to break the break the bank" in order to get their hands on Yaya Toure. Taking its cue from Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the British tabloid says that the Sky Blues midfielder is the prime target of Roberto Mancini and that the former City manager wants to get his old charge over to Italy in the summer. Inter know it won't be cheap to prise the 31-year-old from the Etihad but they "would be prepared to pay" in the region of £43.5m for his services.
