A set of ex-royal wheels used by Queen Elizabeth II for two years has found its way onto Auto Trader with a price tag of almost £200,000.
It boasts a 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 engine, making it good for 0-62mph in 5.1secs with a top speed of 184mph – not bad for a car weighing more than 2.5 tonnes.

Plus it comes equipped with "all of the features you'd expect to find at the ridiculous end of the spec sheet", says Top Gear. The vanity mirrors, door panels and picnic tables are all finished in an exquisite walnut burr, with a full leather interior. It's finished off with 21ins alloy wheels.

As for the price tag, Car magazine notes the £199,850 listing commands a substantial premium over any other typical 2012 Mulsanne, which usually retail around the £112,000 mark.
"This car presents a collector with the rare opportunity to purchase a car that has been used to good effect by our longest reigning monarch," a sales spokesperson said, while Auto Trader stresses the Queen's 90th birthday on 21 April as great justification for any collectors tempted to make it the crown jewel of their garage.
It wouldn't be that much of a surprise if it's royal passenger had ever sat behind the wheel, says Autoblog, given previous photographs of the Queen driving around Windsor. The site also picks up on the royal household's relationship with Bentley – the Queen owns two highly modified and armoured state limousines, valued at £10m each, made by the company and was the first recipient of the £160,000 Bentley Bentayga SUV.
