Alleged drug bonus leads to arrest
A US business owner has been arrested after an employee claimed he offered staff an unusual bonus – half a gram of methamphetamine. Jesse Seifert and his girlfriend, Nancy Loehlein, were both detained by police after a search of the Clear Choice Auto Body Repair in Minnesota turned up a set of digital scales, syringes and traces of the drug.

Russia's MoD 'buys five dolphins'
The Russian defence ministry has purchased five dolphins, but is refusing to say what it intends to do with the animals. The sale was reported on a Russian government website used for state tenders, which says the ministry agreed to pay £3,600 each for three male and two female dolphins. They are between three and five years old and according to the site, have "all teeth intact" and are secreting "no mucus from the blowhole".
Trump and Hitler among nominations to rename school
The Austin Independent School District has run into trouble after inviting members of the public to suggest new names for the Robert E Lee elementary school. Suggestions include Donald J Trump Elementary, Adolf Hitler School for Friendship and Tolerance, Bleeding Heart Liberal Elementary and, of course, Boaty McBoatface Elementary School.
