A llama called Brad Pitt had to be rugby-tackled to the ground after he left his girlfriends Thelma and Louise and rampaged through a sleepy Surrey village.
Alex Gache, the owner of an equestrian centre, leapt into action when she received a call from a panicked friend who had been cornered by the South American pack animal on Saturday night in the village of Woodhatch.
Explaining the bizarre series of events, Gache told the Surrey Advertiser that the police had called her about the animal earlier that evening: "The first I knew about it, the police stopped in at my equestrian centre at 6pm to ask if it was mine. I do own llamas but I said 'No, all mine are here' and they said they had managed to corner it in a field along the A217."

But the llama drama continued after Brad Pitt managed to escape. Gache was called by a friend at around 8pm, who said: "Help, I have a llama in my garden, what do I do?"
The llama returned to the A217, jumping into the road and back again into gardens, with the chase lasting until 11.30pm when Gache finally "rugby-tackled" him and took him back to her stables, reports The Sun. "He just seemed quite terrified of people," she explained.
The owner of the llama, who was on holiday at the time, said Brad lived with his two girlfriends Thelma and Louise.
While on his travels, Brad had been spotted by village locals, a number of whom reported to the police sightings of a "big dog".
One such local, Jack Read, even managed to snap a picture of the woolly-haired beast as it made its way through the village.
"I looked up and I thought it was a big dog, but then I realised what it was, this big white woolly thing," he said. "It was on its own just exploring just round the corner from where I live."
