Rupert Sanderson creates a champagne slipper for 34 Mayfair

Diners at the elegant London restaurant can sip from an Art Deco-inspired glass slipper devised by the British shoe designer

Hot on the heels of its tongue-in-cheek collaboration with supermodel Kate Moss, whose left breast was the mould for a champagne coupe, restaurant 34 Mayfair has asked renowned shoe designer Rupert Sanderson to create its latest piece of playful glassware.

If you want to carry on the celebrations at home, a limited number are available to purchase for £5,000, in a set that comes complete with a bottle of the champagne and six flutes.

However, if the shoe doesn't fit, perhaps another Rupert Sanderson creation will. To mark the occasion, he has added a satin champagne pump to his ready-to-wear collection, which will be available to purchase in store from 9 November.
