Melania Trump: How the First Lady lets her fashion do the talking
With her outfits, Melania has proven 'she is a queen at fashion trolling'

Melania has an "unlikely fashion muse", The Sun says, in Claire Underwood, the fictional political powerhouse who helps propel her Machiavellian husband to the White House in Netflix's House of Cards.
According to the paper, Melania "has a penchant for sharp tailoring, androgynous-inspired outfits and waist-cinching belts reminiscent of actress Robin Wright's malevolent character."
But it could equally be said that it's Melania who's the muse for the show. The fifth season of the popular TV drama returned to our screens this week, with Wright's character apparently having taken style cues from the real-world First Lady, "right down to the towering, patent heels."

"Fictional First Lady Claire, who stars alongside Kevin Spacey in the American show, knows that a sharp silhouette is key to a no-nonsense look. In the series's opening episode, Claire was seen in a white polo neck and tailored trousers, a look Melania channelled while at a Chanel event in New York."
Melania's penchant for bright colour is a departure from Wright's character, who often dresses in plain black, grey or white, but on her recent trip to Europe and the Middle East, the First Lady "donned a more muted palette" bringing her back in line with her fictional counterpart.
